NIGHT SAFARI SAARISELKÄ
As the night sets in, begin an Arctic journey under the rising moon and watch the stars slowly appear. Ride through dark, snow-covered areas illuminated only by the headlight of your snowmobile. If you’re lucky, the Northern Lights will paint the heavens. Snack and cup of coffee brewed over the open fire included. Duration 3h.

 
ICE FISHING & SNOWMOBILING SAARISELKÄ
Snowmobile safari to a wilderness lake, where the fish are just aching to be caught. Try your luck at traditional ice fishing in the best fishing destination of Saariselkä. Fry your catch on the fire and enjoy some really fresh fish! Possible catch include perch, whitefish and arctic char. Refresh yourself with a cup of coffee and a snack by an open campfire after fishing. Duration: 4 hours.

HUSKY &SNOWMOBILE SAARISELKÄ
Ride along a trail traversing snow-covered landscapes. Visit a husky ranch and learn about the daily life and training of these friendly Arctic dogs. Take a ride in a sled pulled by a husky team and enjoy a cup of hot berry juice around a campfire. Duration: 4 hours (husky sledge ride 30 minutes, 2 persons / sled).

INARI

LIFE OF SAMI CRAFT MAKER IN LEMMENJOKI
This program takes us to a Sami reindeer herding family. The mother, a felt artisan and a Sami craft master will show us the different ways Sami artisans work today. In their home farm we will see how her felt art takes shapes and colours from the surrounding nature and how she has clothed her family from head to toe with traditional Sami clothing. Coffee break included. Duration 3-3,5 hrs.

SAMI CULTURE or AURORA BOREALIS & SNOWMOBILING
The trip will take you to the famous island “Ukko” (“Äijih”), an ancient sacrificial site of the Inari Sámi. Or instead of “Ukko” you can visit the wilderness church of Pielpajärvi build 1760. Hot drink included. Evening safari is for the Northern Lights! Duration 2 hours.

SIIDA - SAMI MUSEUM & NORTHERN LAPLAND NATURE CENTRE
The exhibitions show now nature and people have adapted to the extreme conditions of the Northern environment. Wonderful photographs, videos, dioramas, sounds capes and original art crafts guide you between the seasons and back through the times past. You have possibility for coffee and meals after the museum tour. You can watch DVD-show on Northern Lights or Lake Inarijärvi.

TASTE OF REINDEER HERDER’S DAY
In this very unique excursion we will join our Inari sami reindeer herder in his daily work. After arriving to his home farm he will take us by snowmobile to his herd. You will be sitting in the sledge enjoying the landscape. When we reach the herd, we will help him with the feeding, have a chance to observe the reindeer and enjoy a warming coffee break by an open fire. We will hear how the herder’s work was in the past and the way it is today. Duration 3,5-4 hours.
