SAFARI TO RUSSIAN BORDER
A safari from west to east, to the top of the magnificent Kuntivaara arctic hill, which is crowned with trees thickly covered in snow. The Russian border is just around the corner and the breath taking scenery over arctic wilderness will stay in our memories for days to come. During the safari we will enjoy soup lunch. Duration of the safari is about 100 km and 6 hours. Safari is a demanding.

SAUNA SAFARI
Peaceful snowmobiling in the snowy forest. Flurry of snow sends us to the relaxing warmth of a sauna. Our traditional saunas are perfect places to end the safaris. The warm sauna makes the day! Everyone may test their bravery by dip in the ice hole. Duration of the safari about 25 km and 2 hours. Soup lunch and coffee. Length of the challenging journey is about 100 km and duration about 6 hours.

NORTHERN LIGHTS
When the night has come the chain of snowmobile lights will disappear to the quiet forest. In the dark we can see the northern lights dancing on the vault.
Please note that Northern lights can be seen only 180 days a year if the sky is not cloudy. We will have a delicious dinner by the campfire. Length of the safari is about 40 km and 4 hours.

WINTER OLYMPIC
Special Olympic Games in four types of wilderness activities like tandem skiing, axe throwing or making a fire. During this 2 hour contest we will also enjoy some coffee with sweet pastries. We will give awards to the winning team when the games are over.

THE RUKA EXPRESS
A 2-day safari through snowy forests and across frozen lakes. As the night falls we will head to a Iisakki´s Ice Village where we sleep in two persons igloos with sleeping backs. Safari includes dinner, breakfast and snack lunches. This challenging safari is ca. 190km.

HUSKYS & SNOWMOBILE 
A safari to the husky farm. We will get to know the friendly huskies and the owner tells us about the everyday life of the huskies. After the driving lesson we will drive 5 km in the winter nature (2 persons/ sledge) and enjoy coffee and bun in a hut. After the husky safari we will head back to Ruka with the snowmobiles. Length of the snowmobile safari is about 45 km, and it takes about 4 hours.

OFF ROAD summer program
Off Road car is two persons vehicle for small and big roads, even to the forest tracks. We shall test our driving skills in Iisakki Village´s driving track and drive in Ruka Fell area. For this program driving license is required. Duration 2 hours including coffee break and safety instructions. Duration about 2 hours.

KITKA EXPRESS - OFF ROAD DOUBLE summer program
Come and experience the rapids of the Kuusamo and Off Road cars in a same day. The program includes conquering seven rapids in upper part of Kitka river with our professional guides. After rafting, journey continues by driving Off Road cars along forest roads from Juuma to Ruka. Distance by car is about 25 km. Duration of the program is 4-5 hours.

AMAZING RACE  summer program
Amazing Race type team program where we try to find a ” treasure ” in a Ruka Fell area by mountain bikes or Off Road cars. A task is to find clues and if you are lucky also a treasure. During the program we enjoy coffee and bun by the camp fire. Duration is 3 – 4 hours. It is also easy to connect other programs like sauna and dinner to the program.
