LADIES ONLY – this excursion specially made for the women.
1st day: Arrival to Kuusamo airport. Transport to Salla. Overnight and dinner.
2nd day: Transport to safari house where delivery of driving equipment and driving info.
This safari takes you to a small wilderness hut where we will have safari lunch break.
During the day we will drive along the snowmobile tracks and enjoy the landscapes on the way: the Old Salla Fell on the Russian side and the snow-covered trees. After returning back to start place transport to hotel where you can relax your muscles at the Revontuli Spa. Daily driving distance is about 40-50km.
3rd day is Husky day: this husky safari will take you through the snowy forest. We are having picnics breaks during the safari. After the safari transport back to the hotel, overnight. Duration of the husky safari is 5-6 hours.
4th day: After the breakfast we start again the snowmobiles. This time we will head towards south to the Arctic Circle. After crossing the Arctic Circle we will have safari lunch at the nearby hut by an open fire. Daily driving distance is about 100 km.
5th day: Breakfast. Transport to Kuusamo airport.
NORTHERN LAPLAND- ARCTIC OCEAN
Day 1 Safari starts at Ivalo at 9.00. We drive through beautiful scenery, having coffee and small snack on the way. After the break we continue to a reindeer farm where we have accommodation, sauna and dinner. On farm you can see different Sámi cultures and have a tasteful reindeer dinner. Driving distance approx. 170 km.
Day 2 After breakfast safari continues to the Arctic Ocean and lunch in Norway. After breathtaking experience we return to Finland and driving to Sevettijärvi village, overnight and dinner. Driving distance approx. 120 km.
Day 3 After breakfast we start driving from Sevettijärvi to Ivalo. During the trip we have chance to admire the pure nature again and we have coffee break and small snack. Driving distance approx. 120 km.
SNOWMOBILE SAFARI FROM THE ARCTIC CIRCLE TO THE ARCTIC OCEAN
This safari offers you an Arctic snowmobile adventure in the regions of Finnish and Norwegian Lapland. We begin our journey from Rovaniemi, where we go through our itinerary and other things included. We provide the necessary driving equipment, backpack for your personal things to carry on the snowmobile and other supplies needed. The adventure begins by crossing the Arctic Circle. The route takes us through the woods of Southern Lapland, to the fells of Saariselkä, across the huge and magnificent Lake Inari up to the fells of Norway, all the way to the shores of the Arctic Ocean. After the visit to the Arctic Ocean, we return to Ivalo where our journey will end.
LUOSTO –ARCTIC OCEAN
Day 1 Safari starts at Luosto at 9.00. We meet at safari house where the guests get safari gear, driving and safety instructions and off we go! From Luosto fell area towards Ivalo through wilderness kind terrain. After the break we continue the Gold Village Tankavaara where we have accommodation, sauna and dinner. In the village you can see different things about gold panning in the wilderness.. Driving distance approx. 170 km.
Day 2 After breakfast safari continues. We drive through beautiful scenery from Saariselkä to Sevettijärvi. After the break we continue to a reindeer farm where we have accommodation, sauna and dinner. On farm you can see different sámi culture and have a tasteful dinner. Driving distance approx. 170 km.
Day 3 After breakfast safari continues to the Arctic Ocean and lunch in Norway. After breathtaking experience, return to Finland and driving to Sevettijärvi village. Driving distance approx. 120 km. There is car/coach transfer to Luosto waiting.
SNOW ADVENTURES BY SNOWMOBILES
Snowy snowmobile safari from the Arctic Circle to the Korouoma Canyon in Eastern Lapland gives you the experience of the real wilderness. Due to its demanding features, participating for this safari requires a good physical condition and durability. The safari begins from Rovaniemi Airport, we cross the Arctic Circle and East. Our route takes us through the wintry forests and over frozen lakes. The route might be untouched, so we may have to open the track through the soft snow. In the late afternoon we arrive to our cottage and settle in. We warm the cottage up with the fireplace for the night. We also prepare the sauna for the evening. After the relaxing sauna, you are served a traditional dinner at the cottage. The next day we drive to the Korouoma Canyon and see the Canyon in all its beauty. During journey we are able to do short hikes in woods observing nature. During the last day, we drive back to Rovaniemi.
SNOWMOBILE SAFARI TO THE GREAT FELLS OF LAPLAND
We go for an Arctic snowmobile adventure up to great fells in Finnish Lapland. We begin our journey from Kittilä airport where we go through our itinerary and other things included. We provide all the necessary driving equipment, backpack for your personal things to carry on snowmobile and supplies needed.
At first we drive through the woods and on our way we see how the scenery becomes vaster the further north we go. After the first night, we head for the great fells, towards to Kilpisjärvi village and lake. During our five-day trip, we see the biggest fells in Finland and huge open sceneries so far as the eye can see. Accommodation is in hotels and cottages.
